The following maps shows the route between Miskin Manor on the right and Merthy Mawr on the left. Written directions are below.
THE CHURCH
By Car
| Heading west on the M4 | |
| 1. Exit at J35 following signposted for Bridgend |  |
| 2. Take the first exit off the roundabout onto the A473 signposted Bridgend |  |
| 3. Continue on the A473, through the small roundabout, signposted Bridgend |
 |
| 4. At the next roundabout take the third exit, signposted for Ewenny Industrial Estate on one sign and Bridgend on another. |   |
| 5. Continue along the A473, past the Esporta gym | |
| 6. At the next roundabout take the second exit and follow the A48 signposted to Port Talbot and Porthcawl |  |
| 7. Over the next small roundabout past the KFC (on left) and the garage on right |  |
| 8. At the next roundabout take the first left sign posted for Ogmore-by-Sea/B4524 |  |
| 9. Follow the road down the hill and take the right turn signposted to Merthyr Wawr into New Inn Road |  |
| 10. Follow this lane and take the first left to Merthwr Mawr signposted by a wooden sign |  |
| 11. Follow this road, over two hump backed bridges, until you reach the village and the church |  |
| 12. There is limited parking at the church and at the main church entrance parking will be restricted to the wedding party. There is a grass area for parking just passed the church, around the bend and on the right. Please park on the grass, end on to the road and not parallel to the road, to enable the maximum number of cars to use this parking area* |
*Note that we have been informed that on occasion cars have been robbed whilst parked at the church so please keep all valuables out of sight.
By Rail
South West Trains from Paddington to Bridgend railway station, take a taxi to Merthwr Mawr from the station (15 minutes/£10)
THE RECEPTION at Miskin Manor
By Car
1. Exit at J34 on the M4
2. Heading East it is the first exit, heading west it is the third exit sign
posted A4119
3. Take the first left sign posted Hotel/Miskin Manor, only about 200m from the
round about.
Note that when you leave Miskin Manor you are directed onto a long route through the grounds and are brought out at a different location to the entrance. To get back to the M4:
1. Turn left at the T junction (No sign posts)
2. At the next T junction (with the main road, Castell Mynach pub on right),
turn left towards the J34 roundabout.
By rail
South West Trains from Paddington to Bridgend, take a taxi to Miskin Manor (£30).
